This image is FREE to use (first use) - Brick to the Past - Lego at Stirling Castle - Ava Green (8), from Broxburn, West Lothian, visits a brand new LEGO exhibition at Stirling Castle. The Jacobite Risings: The Fight for Britain’s Throne by Brick to the Past recreates key moments in Jacobite history in around one  million LEGO bricks, including over 2000 individual soldiers from both sides of the conflict as well as depictions of several of Scotland’s historic buildings all in the shadow of the Cairngorms mountain range. Voting opens to decide the nation’s #ScotWord which will be revealed in the epic flaming finale of the Torchlight Procession at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay  

Final shortlist of possible #ScotWords as decided by the young people of Scotland announced in national campaign to choose one word which best answers the question – ‘What makes you proud to live in Scotland’  

Young people continue to lead the debate and now call for engagement across all generations as everyone in Scotland is encouraged to vote for their favourite #ScotWord in a public vote. Voting is now live via scotword.edinburghshogmanay.com 
The #ScotWord which wins the public vote will form the stunning culmination of the iconic Torchlight Procession launching Edinburgh’s Hogmanay to the world

Today, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay launched a nationwide vote to ask Scotland to choose its #ScotWord from these words which have been selected by the young people of Scotland.    
Young people have been the driving force behind #ScotWord from the outset of the campaign and in this exciting final phase now lead in widening the discussion around Scottish pride and facilitating intergenerational debate in homes, communities and online as the call is issued to everyone in Scotland to campaign and vote for their favourite #ScotWord.   
The vote is open until 17th December but the #ScotWord which wins the public vote won’t be revealed until the 30th December when it will form the stunning culmination of the iconic Torchlight Procession. This moment is set to launch Edinburgh’s Hogmanay to the world with a unique new image an
