A Scots restaurant has added the award for culinary excellence to its growing collection.
New Chapter restaurant on Eyre Place, in Edinburgh’s New Town, owned and run by husband and wife team Matthew and Carol Korecki, has been recognised as a Good Food Award winner for 2020.
The Good Food Awards are based upon extensive research of customer feedback, nominations and votes, with the winners being recognised for exceptional levels of quality in food, service and value for money.
A Good Food Award winner must offer delicious dishes, rank well against competitors, receive consistent positive customer feedback and have exceptional food hygiene standards.
Matthew said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled with this win. We have always been proud of the food and service we deliver to our customers and to be recognised with a Good Food Award brings a whole new level of pride.
‘It really is testament to the whole team – it might sound cliché but we are one big family at New Chapter and all work together to achieve these kinds of accolades.
‘We’re also hugely passionate about what we do and the quality of dishes we create, which I believe sets us apart in the very competitive Edinburgh restaurant scene.
‘Whether you’re a regular face or a new one, we love welcoming guests to the restaurant. Our menu is seasonal and we use only the best local produce to keep the dining experience fresh and exciting, no matter whether it’s your first time or your fifth.’
