Glenapp Castle has won the Independent Hotel of the Year title at this year’s CIS Excellence Awards 2019.
The CIS Excellence Awards 2019, since their launch in 2004, have ‘recognised, rewarded and celebrated the exceptionally high degrees of creativity, innovation and excellence in the Scottish hospitality, catering and tourism sectors’.
The awards have established themselves as the most prestigious honour for operators all over the country

Glenapp Castle is a 17-bedroom luxurious castle hotel tucked away on the breath-taking Ayrshire coast. The castle is hidden away in 36 acres of stunning gardens and woodland.

Overseen by executive chef David Alexander, the team prides itself on using local produce for its freshness and excellent quality that is available in Ayrshire.
All the restaurant’s fish and shellfish are line-caught, or hand-dived off Scotland’s west coast and the game comes from local estates from across Ayrshire; beef, lamb, and pork are farmed only 17 miles from the castle.
