Boë Gin has announced two new major national listings in a phenomenal year of growth.
Stirling-based Boë’s award-winning Boë Violet flavoured gin will now be available in Co-Op and Scotmid stores across Scotland.
Boë Violet, a full-strength gin which uses Boë’s classic Scottish Gin, infused with violet flowers will now be available in 342 Scottish Co-Op stores and over 160 Scotmid stores. With its vibrant purple colour, Boë Violet is easily recognisable and will stand out on shelf.
The new listings come on the back of a hugely successful year for the Throsk based business.
Last month, the brand announced financial results which showed a £1.1 million increase in operating profits and a £7.4 million increase in gin sales.
Launched in 2016, Boë Violet was one of the first full strength flavoured gins to market. Listed UK wide with Morrisons and available in the on-trade, the vibrant flavoured spirit proved so popular that Boë continued to innovate in the flavoured category.
Boë Passion, a second full strength flavoured gin, this time using on-trend passionfruit was introduced earlier this year and is already proving a hit with customers in the on and off-trade.
Andrew Richardson, director of Boë Gin, said: ‘We’re really proud to be growing our presence in stores throughout Scotland and I’m confident Boë Violet will perform well at Co-Op and Scotmid stores across the country.
‘We’ve been at the forefront of flavoured gin and these new listings will provide more opportunity for consumers to get their hands on our award winning Boë Violet.’
In addition to Boë Violet and Boë Passion, the Boë Gin range also includes the full strength Boë Classic Scottish Gin and three flavoured liqueurs – Peach and Hibiscus, Spiced Orange and Scottish Bramble.
Boë is available UK wide, including in over 300 Morrisons stores and can be found behind the bar in over 11,000 cocktail bars, restaurants and pubs.
