Sail away with a Maid of the Forth musical cruise

 

Who needs another Friday or Saturday night on the sofa or in the pub when you can set sail with an evening musical cruise on the Firth of Forth.

Maid of the Forth, the acclaimed family-run sightseeing cruise on the Firth of Forth, has announced its first Folk cruises for the 2017 season which will see passengers enjoy live music from Scottish folk band, Pure Malt, as the sunsets against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh and Fife. The famed 3-hour cruise, which is an annual sell out, takes place on Saturday 20 May from Queensferry and Friday 2 June from Alloa.

Resident folk band Pure Malt, who have been playing on the Maid since 2009, will perform a whole host of traditional and contemporary Scottish and Irish folk music, with the chance to sing-a-long and make requests. Also during the cruise, passengers have the opportunity to pre-order food from the BBQ, with vegetarian options available; alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased from Maid’s bar.
