Cuban-themed night coming to Glasgow this week

Bacardi is set to take over The White Box in Glasgow to host an exclusive Cuban inspired rum dining event on March 6.

Bringing a taste of the tropics to Glasgow’s city centre, Dining with Bacardi will be hosted by sixth-generation rum distiller Adolfo Comas Bacardí, who will bring to life the brand’s legendary rum collection through expertly mixed cocktails and a unique food pairing menu.

Daiquiris on arrival the RUSK & RUSK venue will be followed by a four-course meal, including slow cooked beef empanada, blood orange and rum cured salmon tostada and a Cuban spiced duck breast, all served to the sounds of DJ Big Al.

Louise Rusk, co-owner of RUSK & RUSK, said: ‘With the January lull finally over, we can’t wait to see The White Box transform into a vibrant floral haven. Bacardi know how to throw a party and this one is set to be full of surprises with creative food pairings and a daiquiri fountain!’

Located on Mitchell Street in Glasgow, The White Box sits below RUSK & RUSK’s latest restaurant, So L.A and is a spectacular, subterranean urban garden designed for private functions. White exposed brick walls, stylish lighting and an ostentatious entrance, make for a highly flexible city centre space.
