Lake of Menteith Hotel partners with neighbours

THE Lake of Menteith Hotel has been forging links with its neighbours after being bought by Karma Group.

Aberfoyle Golf Club is now offering hotel guests a 20% discount on its course’s green fees.

Ledard Farm Estate is giving a 40% discount to parties of four or more who want to try their hand at clay pigeon shooting.

Chris Diplock, general manager at Karma Lake of Menteith, said: “We are delighted to be creating more and more connections in this beautiful local area, and thank all of these fantastic local businesses for engaging with us to enhance our guest experiences, which is something that is really important to us.

“Golfing and clay pigeon shooting are activities that can be enjoyed all year round, especially in the winter months when guests still want to be out and about getting fresh air and admiring the stunning scenery all around.”

As well as activities, the hotel has continued to expand its range of local food and drink.

Drams from Deanston, the hotel’s local distillery, are being served in its Malt Vault whisky bar, while meat and game from Rednock Estate are also on its restaurant’s menu.

Rednock Estate raises pedigree cattle, and also has deer, partridge, and pheasant.
