A great British tradition, afternoon tea is a timeless treat and Dobbies Garden Centres is delighted to launch their new and improved afternoon tea menu, meaning you can unwind in style.
Dobbie’s luxury afternoon tea
Launched on Thursday, the delicious sweet and savoury selection includes freshly prepared sandwiches, mini scones and cakes, all served with a filter coffee or pot of traditional tea with complimentary refills for both.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner our carefully crafted traditional or luxury afternoon tea for two is an ideal way to treat her – plus you can add some extra celebratory fizz with some Prosecco for only £5.95.
There is plenty to see whilst in store and the arrival of Dobbies spring indoor and outdoor living range means you will be able to choose a hand-picked gift whilst indulging in a leisurely day together.

A traditional afternoon tea
Traditional Afternoon Tea: £17 for two, features:
- Freshly prepared sandwiches, filled with salmon and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise, ham and mustard and cucumber;
- Homemade mini plain and fruit scones, served with clotted cream and fruit jam;
- Luxurious cakes, including Victoria sponge, mini fudge brownie and lemon and lime cheesecake;
- Either a pot of tea or a filter coffee, with complimentary refills.
Luxury afternoon tea: £22 for two
- Freshly prepared sandwiches, filled with salmon and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise, ham and mustard and cucumber;
- Vol-au-vents with mushroom duxelle and coronation chicken;
- Homemade mini plain and fruit scones served with clotted cream and fruit jam;
- Delicious cakes including Battenberg, mini chocolate brownie and lemon and lime cheesecake;
- Either a pot of tea or a filter coffee, with complimentary refills.
The children’s afternoon tea
Children’s afternoon tea: £5.95 per child:
- Freshly prepared sandwiches, choose from: Ham, cheese, egg mayonnaise, Nutella or jam and peanut butter;
- Vegetable sticks and a cream cheese dip;
- Star shortbread biscuits;
- Chocolate and Nutella clock cake;
- Mini Victoria sponge;
- Chocolate dipped strawberries;
- Chocolate dipped marshmallows with sprinkles;
- A glass of squash.
