Owner of Eusebi Deli, Giovanna Eusebi has won the title of Restaurant of The Year at Business Women Scotland’s Women in Hospitality and Tourism Awards 2019.
Eusebi Deli has been based in Glasgow for over 40 years, offering an authentic Italian dining experience, with modern dishes, quality regional products and a passionate front-of-house team.
The Women in Hospitality and Tourism Awards took place at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Edinburgh. The awards aim to recognise and increase the number of women working in senior leadership roles across the visitor economy.
A number of highly regarded restaurant, café and bar owners were also in the running for the award including Emma Niven, Inspiration Director from Loch Leven’s Larder and Vikki Wood, Owner of The Wee Restaurants.
The Best Restaurant category recognises a bar, café or restaurant owner who is responsible for creating and running a successful eating and drinking experience. The award focused on innovation in style, service or product, excellent customer service, and employee satisfaction.
A team of industry experts judged the category and named Giovanna the winner of the title, acknowledging her passion, determination, forward thinking approach and commitment to creating the very best dining experience for customers.
