An exciting new range of premium Scottish gins, made with vibrant Spanish fruits, are being released.
Verano Gin is handcrafted in GIrvan, South Ayrshire, by William Grant & Sons, and is available now in over 800 Stonegate bars nationwide, and in ASDA from Friday 7 June, Verano is available in two delicious flavours; Verano Watermelon and Verano Lemon.
The new Verano Gin range is a colourful, accessible informal premium gin, inspired by the relaxed lifestyle and colourful vibrancy of Spain. Verano Gin is part of a new premium gin range from the International Spirits Challenge Awards 2018 Distiller of the Year.
Ifan Jenkins, UK marketing director at William Grant & Sons, makers of Verano, said: ‘We are delighted to be launching the brand new Verano Gin range this summer. Through Verano we wanted to create a premium yet accessible gin which introduce more vibrancy, informality and sociability into gin. We’ve been inspired by Spain and its relaxed lifestyle, colourful vibrancy and delicious fresh fruits, and are bringing this into gin.’
Verano Watermelon is a luscious, sweet and refreshing flavour, made for sharing with friends this summer. Verano Lemon is a revitalising and zingy blend of Spanish lemons infused with extra lemon peel creating a zesty citrus flavour.
The Verano liquid was created with Kayleigh Johnson, one of the William Grant & Sons team based in Girvan at the Gin Distillery. Kayleigh wanted to create a liquid with a delicious and fun flavour that was easy to mix and enjoy with friends.
Inspired by its Spanish informal social style and its accessible enjoyable liquid, we recommend simple and delicious serves easy to share with friends, such as serving in a jug for easy entertaining.
The Verano Gin range is 40% ABV and will be available to enjoy across all 800 Stonegate venues nationwide, including Slug & Lettuce and Walkabout now.
