As new expressions continue to be released by distilleries all over the world, on what seems like a daily basis, we ask two people who know a good whisky to give us their thoughts.
Two of Scotland’s most in the know men in the whisky field, Blair Bowman and James Robertson, are put to the test. We give them a wee dram each, which they have to taste – but there’s a twist. It’s very easy to be prejudiced when you see a label, and have your own expectations of what’s coming as soon as the first sip touches your lips.
So they don’t know what it is until the end.
