Bannatyne Spa stimulates not just the body but the mind

Opting to drive a little out of town certainly pays dividends for parking, and to enjoy an afternoon of sheer relaxation at the Bannatyne Spa on Newcraighall Road, just off the Edinburgh city bypass.

I opted to try out the Elemis Hot Mineral Boost, which promises to stimulate the body, alleviate muscular pain and remove toxins. My therapist, Claire, was friendly and professional, regularly checking that I was comfortable and happy with the pressure during the 55-minute experience.
