An East Lothian eatery is getting ready to mark five years in business.
The family-owned Mercat Grill, at 10 Whitecraig Road in Whitecraig, will be five-years-old this November and to celebrate, there’s a special party to show their appreciation to all the great customers who frequent the award-winning bar and restaurant next Saturday, November 11, from 7.30pm until late.
Graham Blaikie, owner of the Mercat Grill said: ‘We hope to see as many of our regular customers as possible and some new faces at our special 5th birthday party.

‘As well as a celebration of our five years since the Mercat Grill launched, we also want the event to be a big thank you and a sign of our deep appreciatetion to all our loyal customers who frequently visit our family-owned business.
‘It should be a fabulous, fun night with a live band and complimentary buffet. We look forward to welcoming you on the night.’
At the party, there will be a band called Jiver playing live music, from the 70s, 80s & 90s, from 8.30pm, in two 45 minute sessions.
There will also be a complimentary curry buffet for all the guests and a few special treats for some of the venue’s regulars, which is being kept secret.
Carriages will be around midnight.
