The search is on to find Scotland’s home of the year.

An independent television company is producing a brand new property series for the BBC.

IWC Media are scouring the nation, to find those homes with a difference, which stand out from the crowd.

Whether it’s a larger home, or smaller, in the countryside or the heart of a city, the company want to know about homes with distinction.

A spokesman for IWC Media said: ‘Are you proud of your home? Does it have distinctive design? Do you think it stands out from the crowd? Then it could be a candidate for Scotland’s Home of the Year.

‘We are searching the length and breadth of Scotland looking for all types of homes, whether they are big or small, rural or urban, new or old.

‘If it shows individuality, functionality and clever design, it could be a contender.

‘Whatever the budget level, homes will be considered from anywhere in Scotland. Whether your home is a radical renovation, a single storey passion project or a stunning example of modern Scottish architecture, our experts want to see it.

‘If you think yours has something special, it could be the winner of Scotland’s Home of the Year!’
