Do a 5K charity run and you can have so much fun

A seriously fun 5K is coming to a National Trust for Scotland castle next weekend.

Gung-Ho! is a five kilometre run with a difference as racers take on, not just the clock and fellow competitors, but inflatable obstacles too.

Taking place at Castle Fraser in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, on Saturday 1 September 2018, participants will run, bounce and jump around the course of 10 giant inflatable obstacles.
Entrants can run on their own, as part of a team or even for the event’s national charity partner BBC Children in Need.

Gung-Ho! is open to all people. Whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner or if you just fancy enjoying the fun, everyone that wants to take part can. The only restriction is that runners need to be over 4ft tall.

Harry Saunders, Functions and Events Co-ordinator at Castle Fraser said: ‘We’re excited to welcome Gung-Ho! to the grounds of Castle Fraser for the first time. We know that lots of visitors enjoy coming to our places to get some fresh air and exercise and this is definitely an event with a difference.

‘It’s open to everyone from seasoned marathon runners to folk who’re just looking for something fun so come and have a go at Gung-Ho!’

Entry costs from £40 per person and advance booking is essential.
