Music, comedy and poetry at Crail Festival

This year’s Crail Festival is gearing up to be one of its most successful yet.

Now in its 34th year, the festival takes place in a variety of venues in Crail, a picturesque village in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife, from 18-28 July.

The Art Exhibition, Street Market, Putting Green and the Festival Quiz are very popular hardy annuals.

Children’s activities are a priority and the range on offer will be unsurpassed anywhere in Scotland- everything from a movie to workshops, archery and falconry to a fossil hunt, rock pool guddle to story telling and so much more.

Music is always at the heart of a Crail Festival and this year is no exception with opera, folk, gypsy jazz, blues, and rock/pop.
Comedy will feature prominently with Vladimir McTavish’s 5 Star Comedy Evening.

Liz Lochhead , truly one of Scotland’s treasures, will be participating in a session of May Island Discs before enthralling everyone in the evening with some of her famed monologues, poetry, writings and musings.

There is truly something for everyone. The programme and arrangements for online ticket sales are available HERE.
