Queensferry Crossing is all light on the night

Scotland’s £1.3 billion Queensferry Crossing is looking stunning at night.

The bridge opened to traffic on 30 August 2017, as the centrepiece of a major upgrade to the cross-Forth transport corridor in the east of Scotland.

And now, architectural lighting has been installed on the Queensferry Crossing, which includes uplighting for each of the main towers and strip lighting along the deck edge of the bridge.

It now looks fantastic during the cold winter nights.

The structure spans 1.7 miles (2.7km) making it the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world. It is also the longest free-standing balanced cantilever in the world.
