Car lovers are in for a treat at a National Trust for Scotland’s castle this weekend.
A celebration of Jaguars is being held in Drum Castle’s grounds in Aberdeenshire this weekend, whilst it hosts its MG Classic Car Show next weekend.
From the 1920s to the present day, MGs have been seen as the definition of the British sports car and on Sunday 5 August, Drum Castle will play host to a huge selection of some of the finest MG vehicles owned in Britain – both old and new.
Aidan McAleese, visitor services supervisor at Drum Castle said: ‘The grounds of Drum Castle, one of 26 castles and great houses the National Trust for Scotland cares for and protects, provide the perfect location for visitors to appreciate the evolution of the classic Morris Garage’s sports cars.’
As well as experiencing these extraordinary vehicles first hand, car show attendees will be treated to other attractions including a racing car on display from the Aberdeen University TAU Racing Team and Autoglym car valeting.
A tombola stall and raffle complete the entertainment.
