Car lovers from all over Scotland are expected to attend one of the region’s biggest car shows held at the National Trust for Scotland’s Drum Castle.
On Sunday 29 July, Drum Castle will play host to a huge selection of some of the finest Jaguar vehicles owned in Britain – both old and new.
Now in its 19th year, the Annual Jaguar Classic Car Show, hosted by the Grampian Region of Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club will showcase iconic Jaguars dating back as far as the 1950s, including renowned classics and modern favourites.
Aidan McAleese, visitor services supervisor at Drum Castle said: ‘Set against the dramatic backdrop of Drum Castle, which is one of 26 castles and great houses the National Trust for Scotland cares for and protects, this annual event always proves a hit with seasoned and amateur car enthusiasts alike.
‘Hundreds of people flock to the event every year, and we’re looking forward to welcoming this year’s visitors who will be able to admire the impressive display of vehicles.’
As well as enjoying ornate examples of British car manufacturing on the castle’s expansive South Lawn, visitors will also be treated to a whole host of entertainment including music from the Inverurie Pipe Band.
The gates will open at noon, and an entry charge will be collected on the drive.
