Former Scotland rugby hero was a race ace

The team at Knockhill were left in awe and inspired by the recent visit by Doddie Weir OBE.

The former Scotland and British Lions rugby player is now battling the onset of Motor Neurone Disease brought his family along for a day of thrills and spills on the rally stage.

Doddie has already raised millions with his best-selling book and is tirelessly campaigning and fund raising around the world for MND research, including a recent trip to Hong Kong.

On his trip to Knockhill, it was his three sons that took centre stage as they took part in the Knockhill Rally Experience.

He set up the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to raise funds to aid research into the causes of Motor Neurone Disease, investigate potential cures, and to make grants to individuals suffering from MND, to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.
