Countdown is on for the 2019 Scottish Game Fair

The 31st Scottish Game Fair returns to the stunning Scone Parklands over the weekend of July 5-7.

It’s a true celebration of conservation and the countryside, while raising vital funds for wildlife conservation science.

The 2019 Scottish Game Fair will once again feature an impressive line-up of traders, competitions and main ring events.
Plus, there will be a plethora of country sports activities to appeal to all ages and abilities from fishing and clays to gundogs.

The always popular cookery theatre returns alongside competitions such as the Junior Macnab which always has queues of youngsters eager to try their hand at country sports skills.

Last year’s event, the 30th GWCT Scottish Game Fair, did not disappoint, with thousands of visitors streaming through the gates over three lively days.

Families, Trust members and country enthusiasts alike enjoyed the new Four Nations International Gun Dog challenge on Saturday, which was won by England.

The new Fly Fishing Mall and events, demonstrations and Anglers’ Bothy proved a welcome addition to the Fair along with the return of the World of Gundogs and varied main ring performances.

A spokesman said: ‘Huge thanks to all of our visitors, traders and volunteers who helped make last year’s 30th Anniversary Scottish Game Fair truly spectacular. Looking forward to seeing you all again in 2019!’
