A host of golfing greats will return to St Andrews

The greatest ever field in Senior Major history is coming to Scotland next week.

St Andrews’ Old Course will become the home of great rivalries this summer, as some of the greatest names in 80s, 90s and 00s golf meet again as The Senior Open, presented by Rolex.

Colin Montgomerie, Sir Nick Faldo, Mark James, Tom Kite, Bernhard Langer, Tom Lehman, Paul McGinley, Jose Maria Olazabal, Corey Pavin, Sam Torrance, Tom Watson and Ian Woosman will return to the Home of Golf.

The Senior Open will take place on the most iconic venue in all of golf, with a field including 40 Ryder Cup players, 11 Ryder Cup captains, 71 European Tour winners, 46 Major champions, and 52 PGA Tour winners.

The Old Course at St Andrews, which has been a regular host to the world’s oldest and most international Major Championship for more than 140 years, and will achieve another historic milestone from July 26-29, hosting the Senior Open Championship, presented by Rolex, for the first time.
