This trio of whiskies form a classic collection

Three single malt whiskies from the Benromach Classic Range are set to be a perfect Christmas present.

Epitomising the traditional Speyside style, these Benromach whiskies are beautifully balanced with a light touch of smoke.

Matured in a mixture of first fill bourbon barrels and first fill sherry casks, the flagship Benromach 10 Years Old exemplifies the classic Speyside single malt character.

Benromach 100° Proof is a full bodied dram, bottled at 57% ABV. Its name includes the old Imperial measure which follows a tradition established when sceptical sailors, who wanted to ensure their drinks rations had not been watered down, mixed spirit with gunpowder.

With a distinctive golden amber colour due to its long maturation in sherry and bourbon casks, Benromach 15 Years Old is a stunning dram that was crowned Best Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky at the World Whisky Awards earlier this year.

Keith Cruickshank, Benromach distillery manager, said: ‘At Benromach, we’re one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to use traditional methods to handcraft our whiskies, without any automated machinery.

‘Our close-knit team of distillers employ all their senses, managing the process by sight, sound and touch to create the unique, handcrafted and authentic Benromach taste.

‘We would love to hear your thoughts on these expressions so please do share your opinions, pictures and tasting notes on our Classic Range, on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (@Benromach).

‘We wish you all the best for the festive period and new year from everyone at Benromach Distillery. Sláinte!’
