The Ballygrant Inn is in the running for our Whisky Bar of the Year award!
Ballygrant Inn and Restaurant is a small family owned inn on the Island of Islay, offering comfortable accommodation and excellent food made using the finest local produce. At the heart of the inn is the Whisky Bar, which currently stock over 450 different whiskies.
The Inn offers a range of tasting menus, including ‘whisky journeys’ and ‘whisky hopscotch’ – the latter named after Caledonian MacBrayne’s island-hopping ferry ticket, where customers can take a journey through the islands via whisky.
Whisky also features regularly on the Ballygrant Inn’s menus in the bar and restaurant, with some of the most popular dishes including smoked salmon cured in Bruichladdich 10 Years Old, Islay scallops in a Lagavulin whisky and cream sauce, and Bunnahabhain whisky & honey cheesecake.
