Ardbeg’s new limited edition gift tin gives whisky and dog lovers alike the chance to celebrate the untamed spirit of Ardbeg and its loyal canine mascot – Shortie.
This one-of-a-kind collectable gift edition replicates Shortie’s most prized possession – his bone. Buried inside fans will find a prized possession of their own: a bottle of Ardbeg Ten Years Old.
Ardbeg Ten Years Old is the distillery’s flagship whisky – and an expression that Ardbeg is proud to celebrate, renowned as the smokiest, peatiest Islay single malt.
Said to have been the possessor of the peatiest nose on Islay (apart from Ardbeg that is), Shortie is loved by Ardbeggians the world over, and his portrait hangs in pride of place in many an Ardbeg Embassy.
Distillery manager Mickey Heads said: ‘Shortie is a bona-fide Islay icon. Some might say he is just as much a part of Ardbeg as our whisky is, so we are sure fans will be keen to get their paws on this limited edition pack.
