A tasty sweet treat from France to make at home

A taste of France can come to your own kitchen thanks to today’s delicious recipe.

Grant Gordon – executive head chef of both La P’tite Folie restaurant and award-winning Le Di-Vin wine bar on Randolph Place in Edinburgh, is sharing recipes with us this week.

Grant has worked at both the restaurant and the wine bar for 9 years now. He started out working at Frederick Street and then moved to Randolph Place. Prior to that, Grant worked at Prestonfield.

La P’tite Folie is set next door to sister award winning wine bar Le Di-Vin which recently featured in The Sunday Times top 25 wine bars in the UK.

Serving traditional French cuisine with a contemporary twist, La P’tite Folie owner, Virginie, has transformed the ‘Tudor House’ on Randolph Place into a lively and charmingly cosy place to enjoy delicious, traditional French cuisine with a modern twist. Located in the midst of Edinburgh’s West End, this delightful venue offers authentic French dining in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Owner of Le Di-Vin wine bar and La P’tite Folie restaurant Virginie Brouard is also heavily involved in charity work in Ethiopia sponsoring a feeding programme and is now officially working with Mary’s Meals to start to provide school children with their first meals which will be served in schools initially in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia.
