Stack and Still to open second restaurant

Stack & Still, the UK’s largest urban pancake and licensed bar venue has today announced they will open their much anticipated second site in Glasgow’s Silverburn, in early July this year.

Stack & Still opened their first city centre venture with phenomenal success in October last year, serving over 500,000 pancakes in their first six months. Stack & Still has over 60 employees in their city centre branch and will employ a further 60 in the new dual-level Silverburn location inside the Winter Garden. Stack and Still is an accredited living wage employer and will be recruiting all staff at Silverburn on living wage.

The pancake pioneers will be bringing their mind blowing ten million pancake combo menu to the new Silverburn venue where customers can enjoy signature buttermilk stacks including Nutella & Mascarpone, The Big Breakfast Stack as well as extensive healthier options which include buckwheat, sugar free, protein, gluten free and vegan stacks.

Stack & Still is the fourth launch from innovative Glasgow-based entrepreneur Paul Reynolds who is joined by fellow director Graham Swankie in this new development.

Paul has a proven track record in creating groundbreaking service focussed concepts with the roll out of the multi-award winning Gin Spa, Gin71 and Cup venues already under his belt.

Paul said: ‘We have been blown away by the response to Stack & still since launching last year. We knew pancakes would be well received and we have been delighted with the incredible reaction. From the people of Glasgow, to those visiting from further afield, people have really embraced the Stack & Still concept.

‘Expansion and roll out has always been part of our strategy and given the popularity of Silverburn, the ease of parking and their consistent growth in customer footfall we are confident it will be the perfect location for our second site.

‘We attract a lot of families during the day as well as couples and groups of friends in the evening, so there will be a natural synergy with the diverse Silverburn customer. We are looking forward to joining an already thriving food scene within the mall and to welcoming new customers who may not have been experienced the Stack & Still offer.’

David Pierotti, general manager at Silverburn said: ‘Stack & Still has been making waves across the Glasgow food scene and we are really looking forward to welcoming the brand to Silverburn this July.

‘At Silverburn, we’re committed to offering a diverse and innovative range of experiences to our shoppers and we are sure they will share our excitement about this new opening in the centre.’

The new Silverburn location will offer 2 for 1 stacks on Tuesdays, great tasting bottomless coffee that will be roasted on site and kids eat free offers.
