Restaurant goes nut free by removing them from its menus

It’s national nut day today (Tuesday) – and to mark the occasion a Scots restaurant is having an anti nut day celebration!

Glasgow’s Dhabba in Candleriggs have gone completely nut free in the restaurant and kitchen in recent months and they want people to see the differences they’ve made to the menu.

Below are five traditionally nut fuelled dishes they’ve made nut free.

Dhabba owner Navdeep Basi said: ‘We went complete nut free in June and haven’t looked back since. We are the first Scottish Indian restaurant to eradicate bits from our building and we have been inundated by customers who want to try our North Indian food.

‘To celebrate National Nut Day we thought it would be fun to highlight the nut free dishes we now offer. So far no one has noticed the difference.’
