Fishing and poetry

Fisherman and guide Finlay Wilson, from FishWild at Stobo, is starring in a new radio programme on BBC Radio 4.

‘Night Fishing’, which will be broadcast at 4.30pm on Sunday 2 November and repeated at 11.30pm on Saturday 8 November, remembers the fishing expeditions made by Cumbrian poet Tom Rawling and his friend Hugh Falkus, hailed as ‘the 20th century’s leading expert on sea trout’.

The programme was made by producer Matt Thompson, of Rockethouse Radio, and also features poet Grevel Lindop.
