Fiona Kennedy receives OBE

Singer, actor and broadcaster Fiona Kennedy was appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the New Year’s Honours list for her services to music and charity and received her OBE from Her Majesty The Queen at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Tuesday 1 July.

In the August issue of Scottish Field, Fiona – who was appointed as a Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire in 2013 – shares her love of Royal Deeside and Aberdeenshire.

Fiona was joined at the investiture ceremony by her husband, Francis Clark, and her children – Hannah, Francis and actress Sophie Kennedy Clark, who recently starred in Oscar-nominated film Philomena.
