Do yourself a favour on this last day of The Fringe and go to the funniest thing I have seen all Festival.
Four thoroughly professional actors portray the peculiarly intimate relationship between a house and its owners. As the Redmonds hand over the keys for their beloved house and should be moving onto their downsized condo, it becomes apparent that their supposedly perfect buyers, the Fishers, have plans for the property that will break their hearts.
The subsequent drama results in some hilarious edgy comedy involving asbestos, a large teddy bear and physical and verbal abuse of all involved.
Brilliant acting by two-time Fringe First-winner Brian Parks, with The Stage’s Best Actor and Actress David Calvitto and Pauline Goldsmith, and all directed by Fringe First-winning director Margarett Perry.
Just get there this afternoon.
