Open Studios Ayrshire’s artists and makers are preparing for their open weekend.
From small beginnings, great things grow – in 2012 a small group of Ayrshire artists got together and formed Open Studios Ayrshire. This year’s event will run from on 24-27 April.
Their main aim was to raise the profile of artists and makers working in Ayrshire, providing them with sustainable marketing opportunities, allowing them to support each other and share their passions and ideas.
A spokesman said: ‘We are delighted once again to welcome our dedicated followers and those who are discovering the delights of visiting artists’ studios for the first time.
‘As ever we have a diverse range of artists and makers from a number of disciplines who take pleasure in opening their studios and sharing their work with visitors.
‘We hope you will join us this year, exploring not only the arts and crafts in the studios but the stunning countryside and dramatic Ayrshire coastline.’
