With the world’s largest arts festival in town, Edinburgh Gin has been welcoming international visitors and locals alike to enjoy the festivities in style.

Taking over the city with a range of bespoke pop up bars and activities, Edinburgh Gin has presence throughout the Festival with sites at some of the festival’s main venues.
Appearing at Edinburgh International Festival (EIF), Edinburgh International Book Festival (EIB) and Edinburgh University Students Association (EUSA), Edinburgh Gin is popping up at all their festival bars, from the Pleasance Dome to the Leith Theatre. The latter sees

From relaxing with a Seaside Gin in deckchairs at the Edinburgh International Book Festival to soaking up the atmosphere in the Edinburgh Gin Garden at the Pleasance, there is an Edinburgh Gin experience for everyone.

1. Edinburgh Gin Festival Garden & Pleasance VIP bar, The Brookes Club with Edinburgh Gin within Pleasance Dome (in partnership with Edinburgh University). Bringing the outdoors in, the Edinburgh Gin Festival Garden contemporary space is themed on the botanicals used to make the award-winning spirit. Opening hours: 11am-5am. Serving: Bespoke cocktails alongside the Edinburgh Gin Classic, Edinburgh Seaside Gin, Cannonball, Edinburgh Gin 1670 and the Edinburgh Gin Liqueurs (flavours include: Rhubarb & Ginger, Pomegranate & Rose, Plum & Vanilla, Elderflower and Raspberry).

2. The Mound in partnership with Contini. This year will see the return of the popular summer-themed pop-up bar and garden on The Mound. Conveniently located in between Princes Street and the Royal Mile, the terrace is ideally located for a drink between festival shows. Opening hours: 11am-10pm. Serving: Bespoke cocktails alongside the Edinburgh Gin Classic, Edinburgh Seaside Gin, Cannonball, Edinburgh Gin 1670 and the Edinburgh Gin Liqueurs (flavours include: Rhubarb & Ginger, Pomegranate & Rose, Plum & Vanilla, Elderflower and Raspberry).

3. The Hub with Edinburgh Gin. As part of its sponsorship of the Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Gin will be served on The Hub terrace throughout August. Opening hours: 9am-8pm (Sunday alcohol service from noon). Serving: Edinburgh Gin Classic, Edinburgh Seaside Gin, Cannonball, Edinburgh Gin 1670 and the Edinburgh Gin Liqueurs (flavours include: Rhubarb & Ginger, Pomegranate & Rose, Plum & Vanilla, Elderflower and Raspberry).

4. Edinburgh Seaside Gin Gazebo at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. As headline sponsor at the Signing Tent at Edinburgh International Book Festival, the Edinburgh Seaside Gin Gazebo complete with branded deckchairs, will provide the perfect escape from the festival rush, throughout the festival. Opening hours: 10am-9.30pm. Serving: Edinburgh Gin Classic, Edinburgh Seaside Gin, Cannonball, Edinburgh Gin 1670 and the Edinburgh Gin Liqueurs (flavours include: Rhubarb & Ginger, Pomegranate & Rose, Plum & Vanilla, Elderflower and Raspberry).

5. Whisky & Edinburgh Gin Bunker Bar at the Pleasance. The bar will stock Edinburgh Gin and a number of whiskies from Ian MacLeod Distiller’s (who acquired Edinburgh Gin in 2016) portfolio including Pig’s Nose, Glengoyne, Smokehead and Tamdhu.
Opening hours: noon to late. Serving: The Edinburgh Gin range and Ian Macleod’s whisky range including: Pigs Nose, Glengoyne, Smokehead and Tamdhu.

Edinburgh Gin is the official pouring gin at: Gilded Balloon at Rose Theatre; All Book Festival bars; All 15 University and Pleasance venue bars; The Hub; Leith Theatre.
