A Peebles restaurant has welcomed its new head chef.
The Horseshoe Restaurant in Eddleston, has announced Michal Mozdzen has taken up the post.
Michal was previously head chef at the 3 AA Rosette Pompadour by Galvin at Edinburgh’s Waldorf Astoria and joins The Horseshoe from the Ducks Inn at Aberlady.

Michal moved to Edinburgh to study at Napier University in 2008, juggling his studies with work in some of Edinburgh’s best Kitchens – loving the area and after graduating, Michal has worked his way up the culinary ladder and is excited about the latest chapter in his career.
A spokesman for The Horseshoe said: ‘With a great knowledge of the area and the produce available, we’re sure that Michal will be a huge hit at The Horseshoe.
‘We do have tables available this Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime so why don’t you come along sample Michal’s cuisine for yourself?’
