Easy guide to posting comments on this forum

1) Register on this site

(On the home page click on 'Click here to Register' at top of the blue box on left hand side of the screen and fill in your details)If you have already registered you will have to key in your username and password in this blue box first, this will log you into the site and also the forum - Click here to Register

2) Once you have registered click on 'Forum' on the main menu bar at the top of the screen

3) On the left hand side are the main headings under which comments can be left. The right hand side of the screen shows the last comment that has been left under that main heading. ('Threads' is the word used to describe these comments.)

4) Choose the main heading that you want to add your comments under i.e if I want to post a comment about where to go for an interesting days drive in Scotland I could post it under 'travel'.

5) To post a new comment unconnected to any that have already been put on click on the blue box on the left side that says 'new thread'

6) Next give your comment a title ie 'A day's driving in Scotland' and the click on the box marked 'description' and key in your comment

7) Ignore the box that says tags unless you are interested in making your comment searchable on the Internet. If you do want to do this just key in a few words that describe your comment such as; Drive, Edinburgh, Scotland and break your words up with a comma.

8) If you want other users to know that your post if funny, serious or happy then you can click on one of the little faces which will be added to your comment but this is not necessary.

9) Then click 'submit new thread' - this adds your comment to our fourm - simple! If you want to reply to a comment that you see already on the forum then simply click on 'post reply' and follow steps 6 - 8 clicking on 'post reply' at the end.
