On the oceana wave

Barcelona, Cannes, Rome, Naples, Sardinia, Majorca, Cartegena and Gibraltar – all names that paint a picture of the warm and inviting Mediterranean. But to visit all of these places in one holiday would seem a bit on the hectic side.

However, for those in the know this is certainly not the case – there is a way to see and appreciate all these wonderful destinations at an elegant and leisurely pace and in luxury and style.

I am of course referring to cruising – now chosen by many thousands of people as their preferred holiday.

My choice of cruise was with P&O on their 77,000 tonne luxury liner Oceana which was to take us on a Mediterranean exploration, a voyage of discovery.
