The Lord Sempill is the 21st chief and is currently marketing consultant with the Caledonian Brewing Company in Edinburgh.
Educated at the Oratory School in Berkshire and St Clare’s Hall, Oxford he spent 12 years in business in South Africa mainly in brewing and advertising. The family seat, Craigievar Castle was sold to The National Trust for Scotland in 1965.
Lord and Lady Sempill live in Edinburgh and have a son Francis and a daughter Cosima.
